Junior Tax Lawyer

Starting out in tax?

Junior position available for recently admitted B Com LLB solicitor keen to gain experience in international, local and indirect taxes. You will mainly be involved in preparation of written advice and underlying commercial agreements for a wide range of local and international clients. You will have the opportunity to develop your own area of expertise within the tax practice. You will also have the opportunity to develop a working knowledge of immigration law applicable to businesses and high net worth individuals.

You will need some previous exposure to taxation law and accounting (perhaps you are studying for a Masters in Tax) and well developed written and verbal communication skills. The position will suit a person who prefers a quiet work-focused environment in Melbourne CBD. Flexible hours may be negotiated.
